Social Impact
Financial Policy
At FLASKE, we choose to reinvest all our profits into the growth of our mission and impact. We do not pay out dividends to shareholders. Every euro of profit is used to:
- Increase our positive impact on people and the planet
- Continuously improve the quality of our products
- Encourage sustainable innovation throughout our supply chain
This is how we build a future where reusable products are the norm, and single-use plastics are a thing of the past.
Salary Policy
We believe in fair compensation and transparency. That’s why we apply a salary structure that reflects each team member’s contribution and level of responsibility.
- The ratio between the highest and lowest salary at FLASKE is capped at 3:1
- We reward employees based on performance, collaboration, and sustainable impact
- Salaries are regularly reviewed and discussed openly
Everyone at FLASKE contributes to our mission – and that deserves to be seen and appreciated.
Safeguarding Our Mission in Case of Sale or Closure
Our mission won’t end if we ever do.
That’s why we’ve ensured that in the event of a sale or closure of FLASKE:
- The social and sustainable mission will be continued by the new owner
- The company will only be transferred to a party that demonstrably operates sustainably and responsibly
- Part of the proceeds will be used to support new sustainable initiatives
In this way, the core of FLASKE will live on—no matter what happens.
Impact Measurement and Reporting
Our products are designed to structurally reduce plastic pollution. But we measure more than just the number of bottles and cups sold. Starting in 2026, we will map out our social and ecological impact and share it publicly.
Our impact indicators:
- Plastic reduction: Each FLASKE prevents an average of 156 single-use bottles per year
- CO₂ savings: Our reusable products reduce demand for plastic production and transport
- Material choice: We use certified SS304 stainless steel – high-quality, safe, and fully recyclable
- Local processes: Engraving, personalization, and shipping take place in the Netherlands, minimizing CO₂ emissions
Our impact report will be published annually on our website and shared with our stakeholders. This keeps us transparent—and focused on improvement.
Transparency
Trust starts with openness. That’s why we publish the key documents and decisions that shape our organization on our website:
- Our articles of association
- Annual impact reports with concrete results (starting in 2026)
- Stakeholder analysis detailing our relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners
- Financial policies including our dividend and salary policy
- Annual financial statements (as filed with the Chamber of Commerce)
- Ownership structure overview
We believe transparency is not only good for the outside world, but also for ourselves—it keeps us sharp, honest, and connected to our mission.
Through these choices, methods, and openness, we live our values every day: as a social enterprise committed to sustainable change. 🌍💧🚀
